Patrick Yee is a renowned children's illustrator and author from Singapore. He has published over a hundred works with major publishers both domestically and internationally and has received numerous awards and honors. Among these accolades is the Singapore Book of Records, where he holds the title of "Most Prolific Children's Book Illustrator in Singapore."

Other notable works are the illustrated biography "The Runaway Who Became President: S.R. Nathan’s Journey of Hope," and the "Lion City Stories" series, which includes titles such as "The Amah's Golden Fish Lantern - The Story of a Singapore Maid," "A Love Story - Lee Kuan Yew and Kwa Geok Choo," "The Talking Fat Cat," "Thank You, Samsui Women - The Story of Old Singapore's Female Construction Workers," and "Thank You, Coolie Uncle - The Story of Old Singapore's Laborers." Additionally, his picture books "The Happy Yellow Balloon," "Lefty and Righty," and "The Happy Blue Mask" are popular among readers.
Patrick Yee studied fine art and design at Camberwell College of Art and Crafts and obtained a master's degree from the University of Brighton in the UK. Besides creating children's book illustrations, actively participating in art education by teaching children how to draw at various schools and non-profit organizations.
