Loo Kok Wah
画家卢国华（Loo Kok Wah）自七八十年代开始，跟着几位前辈画家出外写生，开始自学绘画之旅，后报读南洋美專的油画技巧短期课程，其后凭着自己的感觉与观察从事绘画创作四十余年，在这期间参与海内外（新，马，韩国之亚细亚美术招待展之展出）,尤其多次参与新马两地同道之联合写生与画展（新山，马六甲）,也多次参与艺术协会之常年美展与陈之初绘画比赛入选作品展，并多次参与南洋美专和其他画会主办之画展，同时也常参与一些慈善组织之美术义画活动。
Artist Loo Kok Wah began his self-taught painting journey in the 1970s and 1980s by going on outdoor sketching trips with several senior artists. He later enrolled in a short-term oil painting technique course at Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts. Relying on his own intuition and observations, he has been engaged in painting for more than 40 years. During this time, he has participated in exhibitions both locally and internationally, including invitation exhibitions in Singapore, Malaysia, and South Korea's Asia Art Exhibition. He has frequently participated in joint sketching trips and exhibitions with fellow artists from Singapore and Malaysia (such as in Johor Bahru and Malacca), as well as annual exhibitions of various art associations and the selected works exhibition of the Tan Tsze Chor Art Award. Loo Kok Wah has also taken part in exhibitions organized by Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts and other art societies and is actively involved in charity art events.

卢国华 (1952年出生) 是新加坡美术协会、惠安会馆美术俱乐部的会员，以及新加坡南洋美术学院的校友。他的艺术之旅始于上世纪70年代和80年代，当时他与几位资深画家一起外出写生，通过自学发展了自己的绘画技艺。随后，他在南洋美术学院完成了一项短期的油画技巧课程，进一步提升了自己的技能。
在过去的40多年里，卢国华一直热衷于绘画，灵感来源于他对周围世界的直觉和观察。他曾在国内外展出自己的作品，参与了新加坡、马来西亚和韩国的亚洲美术招待展等著名邀请展览。他还积极参与了与新加坡和马来西亚的同行艺术家的联合写生活动和展览，其中包括在柔佛和马六甲的活动。

Artist Loo Kok Wah (b. 1952) is a dedicated member of the Singapore Art Society, the Singapore Hui Ann Association Art Club, and an alumnus of the Singapore Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts. His artistic journey began in the 1970s and 1980s, when he embarked on outdoor sketching trips with senior artists, developing his craft through self-study. Later, he enhanced his skills by completing a short-term oil painting course at Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts.
Over the past 40 years, Loo Kok Wah has pursued his passion for painting, drawing inspiration from his intuition and observations of the world around him. He has exhibited his works both locally and internationally, participating in notable invitation exhibitions in Singapore, Malaysia, and South Korea's Asia Art Exhibition. He is also actively involved in collaborative sketching trips and exhibitions with fellow artists from Singapore and Malaysia, including events in Johor Bahru and Malacca.
Loo Kok Wah has contributed to annual exhibitions organized by various art associations and has had his works selected for the prestigious Tan Tze Chor Art Award. In addition to his artistic achievements, he remains actively engaged in charity art events, regularly participating in exhibitions hosted by Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts and other art societies. His dedication to his craft and community over the decades has made him a respected figure in the Singapore art scene.
